I don't want to know absolutely anything at all so carefully skipping to the comment section but!! :D I can't overhype how powerful the Dreamwidth tag management options are. Like, you can rename and merge tags soooo easily. So you could just start with something, anything, and then refine as you wish.
Actually I guess I can overhype because if you just tag for "video games" and later you wish you'd tagged for the specific game title, the tag management tool can't help you XD But still!! There's room to adjust as you go with minimal pain.
