Otherwise, I've started Hunter x Hunter (INCREDIBLE FUN! I Love Gon) and rereading Cyteen by C J Cherryh (such a good book but it's 680 pages long; on the other hand I've been flying through it and I'm almost done after two weeks). I'm behind two episodes on BNHA and need to get back into it :(
KITTY CAT PICTURES! IN THE NEW HOUSE!
They like the windows SO much.
- Last week we moved out of the house we've lived in since 2002! (I've been in and out with apartments etc, but still). This has been (and still is) a huge endeavor. SO MANY BOXES!!! And lots of stuff to take care of at the old house. It's only about five minutes away though so it's not hard to go back and forth.
- The valve to the old fridge leaked and got under the floor at the old house after we moved the fridge, and we didn't realize for a few days T_T it's now been fixed but. That's happening. I hope the floor dries okay.
- On the good side, I'm amazed I managed to move the cats so successfully. They HATE the carrier and one of them also hates being picked up under any circumstances, but I managed to wrangle them both in about ten minutes! And then, after screaming the whole car ride, they've settled very well into the new house. No hiding at all! They bounced right back to being normal straight away.
- Also last week I went to the dentist for the first time in A Long Time. The outlook was basically as I expected! I hate going though... the tastes, the sensations, the endless gagging (I have the world's most sensitive gag reflex)....
- Came to the dentist AGAIN today to get a tooth pulled. In some ways this was a better experience than the cleaning; didn't gag once! Mostly less discomfort because they numb you! I did have to have them stop halfway to numb me more though. Now I'm typing this hoping my prescriptions will be ready soon so I don't have to wait a full day to pick them up after work tomorrow. But I also don't want to go out now that I've settled... The instructions they gave me are also pretty intense. No spitting or swishing for three days T_T how am I to brush my teeth?
