I showed this to my friend and they said something like "I'm not sure what I'm looking at" T_T He's just a little lump and that's okay. I had a lot of fun with the coloring anyway! X-Less' arm and hand are referenced off a drawing of a matador holding a cape.
I love Deidara :D that is all.
I bought some cheap watercolor brush pens from Target and they have changed my world. To me watercolors meant soaking paper and only getting ugly washed out pastels that didn't even spread very well. Admittedly, the last time I used them was in elementary school. But these work great and are easy to use! This pic, as an early test, doesn't really represent that very well... but trust me. The water brush is also a gamechanger. I love that thing.
Further watercolor attempts. Coloring is so fun! Regular ballpoint pens bleed SO bad though. I should probably also get something to use as a palette? I've just been using the side of the page for that.
(Naruto is wearing a different outfit bc this is a character ref for a very convoluted AU that will never see the light of day.)

I draw my left hand a lot because it's always there for me to reference. This turned out... shockingly good! The colors are very sparing bc I'm deathly afraid of the ink bleeding (I went ahead and just used the wet ink for shading in the back) but honestly the pale colors look really nice. And I made the outline without making major mistakes!
This is making me think I should probably try drawing from life more -_- we will see. I like doing hands! But objects not so much.
